Punch out cardstock with the tag punch (119864) and staple it to a quarter of a sponge. That way you don't get your hands all inked! Store them in a bead container.

There is no time....

Hello,
I am sorry for not being able to add anything into my blog lately. I haven't had any opportunity to do anything! I have a 1 1/2 year old that does not allow me to do anything! He will insist on sitting on my lap every time I need to get stuff done. He'll cry and cry until I give up and hold him. I haven't been able to make any sort of cards lately. I haven't taught the monthly card class at Church either.
I one thing I have also piled into my responsibilities is going back to school. It sounded easy at the time when the little kids used to take longer naps! Now I am paying for it. The advantage is that it is online. I am attending University of Phoenix online. It is so awesome I recommend it. You print out your syllabus and they give you a certain day that you need to complete your work. You have until midnight on that day to turn it in. So that is so convenient.

So my life is a little crazy, okay maybe not really, but my time is managed by everything else!

I should be posting soon.....
Just don't know when. But I will try and keep it updated the best I can.

Relief Society Enrichment Activity

I made this layout for our bulletin at Church. It's got the new stamp set and Designer series paper of the new Fall/Winter Catalog. I was so excited to get this done; not realizing that the roses on the paper do not match any of the flowers that I stamped on the lower right corner. OOPS!

I really like the colors to it though.

Baby Shower Invitations

These are some Baby Shower Invitations that I've made in the past. They can be either Baby Shower or Baby Announcement.

These colors are my favorite best of all, but can be changed to either a pink and blue but definitely the brown is a must! I should be posting some more baby stuff pretty soon. So stay tuned!

I like the image of this card, it looks so peaceful and springy! I colored it with copic markers. The color combination was a bit challenging but I like the way it turned out. Laters!......

August Scrapbooking & Cardmaking Class

Hello, I'm back again, I guess I just needed to vent, Thanks for listening!

Here's this months projects we did

ahhh-hummmm.... FOR THOSE WHO COULDN'T MAKE IT!.

It's suppose to be an office theme. In the card says thanks and its all punched flowers on the right corner of the card is a detachable bookmark, the the left of it is a photo holder done with a mega binder clip, to the right is a mini post-it holder keychain, its attached with a binder ring and decorated with ribbon. You can hang it in your bag for those "oooh, I need a piece of paper!" moment. Then to the right are peppermint patties sandwiched with scalloped punched cardstock. These are great for little treats for kids class or something.

It was so much fun. Its a good time to have fun as Girl's night out.

Live and Learn

Sorry I haven't posted anything lately. This week has been disaterious (is that a word?) for me. "BUYER BEWARE" Someone (Fraud) got into my paypal account and made $570 worth of purchases without my authorization. Now my accounts and everything is in lock down for investigation. :( I can't buy anything whaaaaa. It's taken all of me and I feel used! It's a horrible feeling. I hope this will never happen to any of you. Please if you have a paypal account please be careful of your banking cards that you keep on file. Change your passwords often. Close the account if you know your not using it. If you need it create a new one, close it immediately. I could just say "Live and Learn". And then, my home computer is super slow, possible virus so it takes forever to even upload a picture. And I need to get a new memory card for my camera. the other ones are too full. I need some organization for my pictures that I never develop. Any Ideas? Excuses, Excuses, Excuses....

So bear with me. I got so many new pictures to share. As soon as I get myself out of the $$$ trauma I will get back on track. Other than that I'm getting great therapy by doing CARDS!

Elementary Thanks

Here's another Thank You card for Back to School theme. My boys were so excited to go back to school. Ryan especially he's now in 1st grade! He loves it! He gets to see his big brother during the day, He is so excited he loves to make his "own" lunch the night before, and have big boy homework too. So I thought of this idea to make a card for all of those teachers around us, Thanks for filling our minds with knowledge and making learning such a joy!

I thought this card would also be good to do on this months class along with a 3-D project. Leave a comment if you have other suggestions. Ideas are always welcome!

Okay, I really like this one! I know

I LOVE RIBBON! With this card I thought "Hey thanks for the meal!" After I spent the time coloring the guy, He didn't fit in the card! So what do you do? Turn it sideways. Just Like I say in class, "Its very goof-proof and forgiving, you can always fix it!" The Thanks So Much is raised with dimensional dots to raise it up!

Here's a Flower card I made, I like the card but not really? What do you think? Okay I think I really like these springy/summery colors. But, the bow..... too big, Huh? I tied the perfect bow on this one and didn't want to lose it. So I left it on. Okay on to the next card!

This is a card I made with my new Copic Markers! Ooooh.... I love them! They are alcohol- based markers so they blend so well. I stamped sentiment "May your day bloom with happiness" on transparent paper then applied with eyelets. I thought I'd add a little bee on the side too! I just love the colors so vibrant and bloomin' !

4th of July Paper Bag Album

Sorry I havn't posted any artwork lately. I keep for getting to charge my camera! Its a whole day kinda thing. But here is a picture of my first official scrapbook! Okay a mini one. It's made out of paperbags, yes brown lunch bags. It is so fun to make and cheap! I used leftover scraps to make it because it only uses little pieces. the opening of the bag allows you to add more pictures as a pocket. When you first make the book put one bag over the other alternating sides, like turn one end one way and turn another bag the other way. so when you fold it it's top, bottom, top, bottom, etc.... To bind it I used jumbo Eyelets, but you can use anything! punch holes tie it with ribbon, put rings on them or clamp it with office clips. Don't forget to leave the margin to bind it before you begin decorating you pages.

My Craft Room

This is my Craft Room. This is my favorite room in the whole house! I like to spend my free time in this "quiet" room. The kids, of course, are off limits to this room. I think I spend more time organizing it than creating anything. It used to be a guest room, but it was rarely used. So I made a better use of it! I can leave a project laying around and just shut the door, out of sight. I hang and leave everything out so I can see it to use it. If I don't see it I won't use it.

This is the brightest and the cleanest room! In this picture I have my pieces of ribbon on the top shelf. My embellishments on the little drawers, my 1/8 ribbon in the giant cookie jars. underneath is a big dresser, where I store border punches, embossing stuff, heat gun, glues, etc.

This is where I have my punches! I used curtain rods to hang the larger punches, and a hanging fruit basket I have the smaller punches, decorative scissors, and hand held punches.
This is my working table. Here I have my most used necessities. To the far right I have my cardstock in a file basket sorted by color. I unmounted my wooden stamps and stored them in CD cases. Alot more roomy! Then I have my handy tools in little drawers. To the left I have my cutting board I cannot live without, and my scraps of cardstock. I don't throw any of it away. I keep it for later use.

In this wall I hung my Ink pads (yes, I use them all) in an old cassette tape holder. I have my prismacolor pencils, ink refills, markers and distressing sponges. To the left is a gray tray that scores/folds my cards in half. I know what do I need that for? It makes a clean professional fold. Yeap that's right.

Underneath my inkpads is a bookshelf where I store my favorite tool of all...... The Cuttlebug! It engraves the paper into pretty designs. Then I also have drawer full of Ribbon! Lotsa Ribbon!

Summer Fun

We went to the outside Mall to have the kids play at the splash pad. Oh what so much fun they had. Its so cute to see them chase the water spurts from one hole to another. They are such good kids. They are so good to their baby sister. They enjoy playing together as a team.

This is our baby Delton, he's 3 months old. It's the new pink for boys! He, he, he. Sorry little guy you're borrowing big sister's Bumbo chair! (Well when you have a girl you want to buy everything pink.) Oh our baby boy, how your growing so quick. He's a happy baby, at 6:30am he's up giggling, smiling, cooing all by himself in his bed. He's our sunshine in the mornings. He is very husky and heavy, like a baked potato! He likes to be in the center of all the attention. He loves to sit in his chair!
